*********NOTICE **********

This Weekend will be the Capitol Jets III Airshow at South Albany Airport.

Today, Friday saw almost 30 pilots show up for early registration with over 40 aircraft, and they got to get some flights in before the crowds arrive on Saturday and Sunday.

The South Albany Airport is the perfect location for this event with a wide open flying area.

This show will be enjoyed by both pilots and spectators.

Be sure to Join us Saturday night after flying at Casa Mia which is located at 385 Rt 9W, Glenmont, NY

Casa Mia offers an Italian menu which includes things like: Pizza, Specialty Pizzas, Calzones and Every kind of Pasta dish you can imagine. Chicken, Veal, it's all here at Casa Mia.

We are hoping to see more pilots this year than any other year.

During the noon time break, there will be some demonstration flying by some of the pilots.

Please be sure to bring a lawn chair and sun block. Food and drinks will be present at the event.

We look forward to seeing everyone, pilots and spectators alike.

Check out the photo album for photos of last years event!

Directions are available from the link provided on the top of the sites page.

Spectators take note: Yes flying jet powered aircraft is very difficult, but all the pilots started with just a trainer airplane and learned to fly. Once they mastered that, they looked into turbine powered aircraft and received their wavier for flying them. You too can fly! Ask any of the staff at the event and we will all be happy to provide any information you need.

Hope to see you there
